Salary: £85,000 – £100,000 + Benefits + Bonus = £100,000 – £120,000 package (Depending on experience)
An established technology and consulting organisation is seeking an experienced Security Architect Consultant to join its growing Cyber Security practice. This is an exciting opportunity to work across both public and private sector environments, helping organisations design secure architectures that support business transformation while managing evolving cyber security risks.
Working on high-impact programmes, you will combine your expertise in information security, solution architecture and strategic consulting to deliver innovative, resilient security solutions across a broad range of technologies and business environments.
Role Overview
As a Security Architect Consultant, you will play a leading role in defining end-to-end security architectures for complex transformation programmes. You will work closely with clients to understand business objectives, assess security risks and develop practical security solutions that balance operational requirements with robust cyber security controls.
This is a client-facing consulting role offering exposure to a diverse range of technologies, industries and large-scale digital transformation programmes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design end-to-end security architectures that align with business and technical requirements.
- Develop conceptual, logical and implementation security architecture models.
- Advise clients on security strategy, architecture and risk management across complex transformation programmes.
- Design secure solutions covering areas such as identity and access management, network security, infrastructure protection, cloud security and security monitoring.
- Review existing security controls and recommend enhancements to strengthen cyber resilience.
- Translate complex business and technical challenges into practical, secure solution designs.
- Define long-term security strategies that support organisational objectives.
- Apply recognised security architecture principles and design patterns across enterprise environments.
- Present and justify architectural decisions to technical and business stakeholders.
Skills & Experience Required
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in:
- Enterprise Security Architecture and solution design.
- Information security consulting across complex business environments.
- Designing secure solutions for large-scale infrastructure, cloud or systems integration programmes.
- Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Network and infrastructure security.
- Cloud security architecture.
- Security monitoring and cyber defence.
- Applying security architecture frameworks, principles and best practice.
- Engaging with stakeholders at all levels and communicating complex technical concepts clearly.
- Delivering security architecture within multidisciplinary consulting or transformation teams.
Desirable Experience
The following certifications or experience would be advantageous:
- CISSP
- CISM
- IISP / CCP
- TOGAF
- SABSA
- Experience delivering security architecture across enterprise digital transformation programmes.
- Strong consulting and stakeholder management experience.
