SAP IBP Managing Consultant SME

Salary: £115,000 – £125,000 basic + Benefits + Bonus = £135,000 – £145,000 package (Depending on experience)
Location: UK – hybrid, with travel to client sites and company offices

SK Consultancy Solutions are seeking an SAP IBP Managing Consultant SME to combine senior delivery responsibility with a prominent role in RFP responses, pre-sales and solution development.

Joining a technology consulting partner, you will help prospective customers define their planning priorities, shape credible SAP IBP proposals and guide the resulting delivery approach. This position suits a senior planning specialist who can connect detailed functional knowledge with a commercially convincing client proposition.

The opportunity

• Lead the SAP IBP contribution to RFP responses, explaining the proposed solution, delivery approach and key assumptions.
• Support pre-sales workshops and client presentations, helping customers understand the options available and their business implications.
• Shape planning roadmaps, solution scope and functional designs that provide a clear foundation for implementation.
• Provide senior guidance on complex IBP design decisions and dependencies across the wider SAP environment.
• Lead and coach consultants, reviewing their work and maintaining consistency across planning workstreams.
• Contribute reusable expertise and delivery lessons to strengthen future proposals and consulting assignments.

Your experience

You will have a strong SAP IBP consulting background, with multiple implementations and evidence of leading functional delivery or significant planning workstreams.

Alongside expertise in demand, supply or S&OP processes, you should be comfortable advising senior stakeholders, challenging requirements constructively and explaining the trade-offs behind a proposed solution.

RFP, bid or pre-sales experience is particularly relevant. You should be able to turn customer requirements into a clear proposition and discuss both the functional solution and its delivery implications.

Experience designing planning areas and connecting IBP with operational SAP processes is expected. Knowledge of Control Tower, Response & Supply, time-series and order-based planning, together with relevant integration methods, will strengthen your application.

Working arrangements and eligibility

The role combines home working with attendance at client sites and company offices. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK without requirement for Visa/work permit sponsorship. ILR/Settled Status or UK Passports preferred.
