SAP Security – Senior Consultant 

Salary: £75,000 – £88,000 + benefits (DOE)

An established technology and consulting organisation is seeking an experienced SAP Security Senior Consultant to support clients across a variety of transformation and implementation programmes. The role involves working through the full lifecycle of SAP initiatives—covering planning, upgrades, cloud migrations, security design, and solution delivery—while collaborating closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and wider project groups.

This position provides strong exposure to SAP S/4HANA programmes, offering a platform for progression within SAP Security. Typical responsibilities include:

• Providing leadership and advisory expertise on SAP S/4HANA security and controls

• Owning the technical delivery of security components within project environments

• Configuring SAP GRC and maintaining security roles using GRC toolsets

• Engaging with both technical and functional users during design and delivery

• Contributing to overall SAP architectural design

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

Experience & Skills Required:

• Demonstrable involvement in large-scale SAP programme delivery

• Ability to design and architect SAP Security across areas such as HANA, HCM, Fiori, BI, BPC and cloud-based platforms

• Knowledge of GRC Access Control and/or GRC Process Control

• Familiarity with IAG and BTP security concepts (desirable)

• Understanding of IAM and SSO principles (desirable)

• Keen interest in emerging technologies, tools and practices within the SAP landscape
