SAP SCM Senior Consultant (PP/QM/PS)

Salary: £80,000 – £110,000 base + Benefits + Bonus (Circa £125k package)

A consulting organisation delivering major S/4HANA programmes is seeking SAP SCM Senior and Lead Consultants with expertise in Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), Project Systems (PS), or cross-functional experience such as PP/MM or PP/PS. The successful candidate will act as the subject matter expert within their functional area and drive solution delivery across the SCM workstream.

Role Overview

You will take ownership of one or more functional areas within the SCM domain and be responsible for delivering high-quality work packages throughout the project lifecycle. This includes:

• Assessing current business processes and leading discussions to define future-state (“to-be”) requirements

• Designing end-to-end SCM processes aligned with the client’s future operating model

• Preparing detailed delivery plans for your functional area

• Contributing to key project activities including data migration, testing, training, cutover planning and post-go-live support

• Supporting colleagues across other SCM areas and serving as the primary point of expertise for your module

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct business process analysis and identify best-fit SAP S/4HANA SCM solutions

• Lead functional design workshops using clear business language

• Own delivery of your functional workstream with a focus on client satisfaction

• Collaborate closely with client stakeholders to refine requirements and validate solutions

• Provide cross-functional input across SCM modules to ensure integrated design

• Support wider project teams throughout implementation and transition phases

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong experience in Production Planning (SAP PP), with additional expertise in QM, PS, MM or EWM seen as an advantage

• Prior experience in lead or senior consulting roles within the SCM domain

• Understanding of cross-module integration within SAP, particularly across wider supply chain functions

• Consulting background (helpful but not essential)

• At least two full lifecycle implementations, including one S/4HANA project

• Manufacturing industry experience (advantageous)

Working Model

• UK-wide location flexibility

• Willingness to travel to client sites within the UK when required (all project travel fully expensed)

• Hybrid working supported depending on assignment
